PORTOVENERE - Ligurian sea


The fleet of Orza Minore is docked on the charming little harbour of the sea village Portovenere. Beside being one of the most beautiful and famous spots on the Ligurian eastern coasts, Portovenere is also a strategic starting point to sail towards fascinating places.Right in front of it are the Isles Palmaria and Tino, the Gulf of La Spezia offers many locations famous for their beauty, like Le Grazie, Lerici and Tellaro. Going west you can sail along the coast of Cinqueterre reaching the Gulf of Tigullio and the Maritime Park of Portofino. If you sail 60 miles south you can reach the Isle of Capraia and Corsica.

Opening time: the base is open all year around except in July and August

Connections: Portovenere is 10 km from La Spezia. You can reach it by car taking the Highway, exit La Spezia and then follow directions to Portovenere. By train you can get off at La Spezia train station and then take a bus or a taxi to Portovenere.
The closest airports are: Pisa, Airport Galileo Galilei (45 km) and Genova Airport, Cristoforo Colombo (125 km).
